Self Catering Cottage in Co Cork, Ireland

While it has been part of Glenlohane for over two hundred and fifty years, the original portion of Glenlohane Cottage may date back to the late 1600's. This charming self catering cottage still retains some of its original features but it is now fully up to date as far as modern comfort is concerned.

Facing South and generally protected from winds, the large flag stoned terrace can be a delightful suntrap most suitable for eating outside and enjoying country views as it overlooks fields and woodland in a very rural setting. There is ample off road parking for several cars.

The town of Kanturk is only two miles away and offers a variety of shops, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, petrol stations and a three screen cinema. (See our Activities Page for more information on the area).

Guests are always welcome to call on Desmond and Melanie at the main house which is only a quarter of a mile away.
