Gardens

Things to do in Cork, Ireland - Glenlohane is the ideal Country Manor bed and breakfast for anyone wishing to visit Gardens in Cork, do some Birdwatching, shop for Antiques or find out about their family's genealogy - we are in the heart of Co Cork, IrelandGlenlohane has a formal sitting garden filled with a riot of colour which has been laid out within the walls of the old kitchen garden. It is well protected from the wind and offers guests a tranquil place to sit and read and take tea on a sunny afternoon.

We have just planted a boxwood edged herb garden and grow all the herbs for the kitchen. Espaliered apple trees surround the herb and vegetable garden and we have planted fig, pear and plum trees which give fruit for the table.

There are many gardens of note within an easy drive.
